Melodic Poetry

sshhh don't start the flames on this being corny was just bored.
Anyways heard some random music that really hit me, was out of the ordinary
verse chorus bridge verse etc etc. it was just basic yet powerful lines of words
harmonized by instruments and created a melodic interpretation of its meanings,
thus i thought to myself...poof it became coco crunch...lol...anyways...yeah
so i started experimenting on poems and created melody in between and through them,
and they give a whole new level of impact on each lines :p even if they are bundled with utmost cornyness (pffft the essence of being corny?).

so here it is the birth of my random epiphany "Melodic Poetry" :p

Nostalgia

Under this gloomy Sunday morning I start to walk
With only the birds to hear and no people to talk
I walked pass grass, flowers and trees
Hoping you’re beside me and feeling this breeze

Sat down in the corner and looked at the sky
Thinking I’d be right beside you if only I could fly
Lovers walking and holding like there’s no tomorrow
I long for the day when we cast a single shadow

Looked through the mountains and its beautiful view
How long would it take if I walk my way through you
Now I’m building my bridge with hope and love
Coz I know one day I’ll cross the skies above

So I wrote these words and send them to you
Because I want to preserve the feeling that is so true
And I’ll tell you why this day is so blue

I used to sing about birds and butterfly
And how an angel makes me cry
I used to write simple lyrics of love
And make them rhyme with the skies above

It used to make me happy and smile
Even without fancy words and style
It used to be just you and me
And now it’s just me me and me

So I wish to write a simple song
Of love that will never go wrong
With simple melody and words
Even just a few minor chords

I write this song only for me
To make me happy as I can be
I know this all sounds so sad
But really it’s not all that bad

I may not be as happy as before
It may not be the sound people adore
But at least I know one thing is for sure

24 years of unspoken slumber finally ready to go public.
I cried, smiled, laughed, fought, taught, bled and went through indescribably painful beautification that you just have to see the results of years and years of molding and remaking of an introvert child who kept his world to himself into a bundle of immortal mouth.
